This interface allows you to configure the spam filter settings for your Hosting account. Spam filters identify and sort or delete unsolicited emails, commonly known as spam. You can also use this interface to configure your whitelist and blacklist settings.

 

How to Blacklist Email in Cpanel (Block)

  1. Login to Cpanel
  2. In the Email section, click the "Spam Filters" icon
  3. Scroll down to the “Additional Configurations" and click the “Show Additional Configurations”.
  4. Scroll down to the “Blacklist (Emails Never Allowed)” section. Click the “Edit Spam Blacklist Settings”.
  5.  Click the “Add a New ‘blacklist_from’ Item” 
  6. Enter the email address that you wish to blacklist then Click the “Update Blacklist (blacklist_from)” button.

 

How to Whitelist email in cPanel (Allow)

  1. Login to Cpanel
  2. In the Email section, click the "Spam Filters" icon
  3. Scroll down to the “Additional Configurations" and click the “Show Additional Configurations”.
  4. Scroll down to the “Whitelist (Emails Always Allowed)” section. Click the “Edit Spam Whitelist Settings”.
  5.  Click the “Add a New ‘whitelist_from’ Item” 
  6. Enter the email address that you wish to whitelist then Click the “Update Whitelist (whitelist_from)” button.

 

Note:

When you add addresses to the blacklist or whitelist, use * as a wildcard to represent multiple characters and ? to represent a single-character wildcard. The following examples demonstrate how to properly use wildcards in the blacklist:
