Subject: How to use SFTP to manage files on the server.

  You can use the main user to manage your website’s Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) accounts. SFTP allows you to manage your website’s files.
  You can check your main account by logging in to the cPanel control panel by following this instruction link >> How to login to cPanel via my.Movaci.com (Insert Link)

  1. After getting into cPanel Control Panel, navigate to User Manager in the Preferences



  2. Your hosting main account is the one that has a star symbol.



  3. After you located the main account you can use this account as SFTP account


To connect File Server with SFTP

  1. Download and install FileZilla on your machine to connect to File Server by going to https://filezilla-project.org/download.php
    and select the version that suits your operating

  2. After installed, open FileZilla on your machine. Example for Windows 10, typing FileZilla on your search or start box



  3. Fill in the correctly format for SFTP information as per below example.

    a.   Host: sftp://clc1.movaci.net
    b.   Username: <your_username>
    c.   Password: <your_password>
    d.   Port: 2222


Then click Quickconnect to connect your SFTP server to manage your file on the server.
